Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct API testing to ensure the integrity and reliability of software interfaces.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in databases.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation scripts and test cases.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Document test processes, results, and maintain detailed test reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and testing.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
