Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development, a good understanding of microservices architecture (preferred), and experience working with relational databases (RDBMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work on optimizing backend systems for performance and scalability
- Ensure high code quality and maintainability through code reviews and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar web frameworks
- Good understanding of microservices architecture (nice to have)
- Solid experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work full-time from the Bangalore office (5 days/week)
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join in September 2025
