Our Technology Infrastructure team engineers and operates the foundational technology platforms that power all of the firm’s applications and businesses. What You’ll Do
You will lead the design, implementation, and management of the firm’s object storage infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of object storage technologies and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on ensuring data availability, scalability, and security. Specifically, you will:
- Develop and implement object storage architecture and strategies to support business requirements and scalability.
- Oversee and optimize object storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement robust security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Monitor storage performance and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Design and implement integration and automation solutions to streamline operations and improve storage management.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate storage resources are available to meet future demands.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex storage issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations and processes and provide training and guidance to junior team members.
What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on object storage solutions.
- Expertise in object storage technologies such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or OpenStack Swift.
- Experience with cloud storage platforms and services.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of storage protocols, data protection strategies, and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
