Supervisor – Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Position Description
As a Supervisor in RSM’s Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting practice, you will help clients transform their businesses through the power of data, machine learning, and AI. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering end-to-end AI and analytics solutions, spanning data integration, modeling, visualization, and applied AI use cases.
This is a client-facing, technical consulting role that offers the opportunity to build hands-on expertise with modern cloud data and AI technologies while helping shape the next generation of intelligent business solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical skill, curiosity, and a consulting mindset, able to bridge data science with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with RSM’s Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting team to:
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models using Python, R, and leading cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Support Generative AI and AI Agent projects, contributing to prompt design, data preparation, and model evaluation.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and build features to support model training and business insights.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data and AI solution design.
- Develop data pipelines and analytics solutions using leading cloud technology tools and products
- Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to communicate results effectively.
- Contribute to project documentation, quality assurance, and testing, ensuring accuracy and scalability of deliverables.
- Work collaboratively across teams, including Data Engineering, Application Development, Digital Services, and Advisory, to deliver holistic client outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence solution development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
- Strong proficiency with cloud data services such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Demonstrated experience building data science, machine learning, and/or agentic AI solutions.
- Strong proficiency SQL and data engineering processes.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment.
- Passion for using AI and advanced analytics to solve real business problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstratable experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI.
- Demonstratable experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
- Experience with data modeling and modern data architectures (i.e. medallion, etc.).
- Experience with AI/MLOps, model evaluation, or model monitoring.
- Experience working in cross-functional consulting teams or client-facing projects.
