Required Competencies

  • Proficient in Requirement analysis, Test case creation, Defect Reporting.
  • Experience in the Embedded Systems preferably functional and performance testing involving firmware and software.
  • Experience in different types of testing such as Load, Stress, performance Testing.
  • Solid understanding of the STLC, SDLC
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Good system level debugging skills are an advantage.
  • Knowing any Programming language is an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Expected to work under own initiative, prioritize own work, and meet agreed timescales.
  • Capable of leading the test plan development and execution for multiple projects under test, with little to no supervision from other team members.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Test Competencies processes and reporting Defects identified during testing, along with Creating Defects within Tools. Designs and develops usability Testing scenarios (Proficient in designing Test suites) and communicating issues to stakeholders.
  • Develops working knowledge of product family in assigned area, with awareness of system design.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a within team and Cross Functional Team.
  • Ability to solve problems and work with others to resolve problems.
  • Periodic customer contact. May participate in customer presentations.
