  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience with Identity Management tools - SSO & SAML 2.0
  • Experience with VMware and other virtualization hypervisors
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Rackspace Cloud services
  • Experience administration of cloud powered tools: NetSuite, Salesforce & Office 365 Application Suite.
  • Experience creating and running Microsoft PowerShell Scripts
  • Certification in one or more of the following: MSCA, MCSE, VCP-DCV or RHCT
  • Ability to work individually, as a team, and cross-functionally to resolve complex issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to be on-call and work during maintenance Windo
  • Experience with OKTA is a plus!

The Job At-A-Glance:
We are seeking a senior cloud Operations Engineer to join our growing Global Technology Organization. As a senior cloud Operations Engineer, you will use your experience, knowledge, and team-focused skills to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products.
This team is focused on operations in both our Data Centers and will support our efforts to move to the cloud for our core digital banking applications and platform. The first major task that this position will focus on is moving our current Active Directory platform into Azure AD. From there, the position will focus on our transition to Cloud Operations and Cloud Engineering.
You will develop software and tools supporting design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, utilities, databases, and cloud-based and Internet-related tools. Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design. Administer hardening internal processes and systems against outside penetration and attack, matching to information security.
We seek someone to ensure installation projects are completed according to agreed service levels, including creating scripts and configuring networks, servers, and applications, migrating data, etc. Manage access to cloud computing services to ensure appropriate access levels are allocated, policies and procedures are complied with, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
Lastly, monitor and report security breaches and any unauthorized data access. Collect data on performance to plan changes and improvements to cloud computing components.
A Typical Day:

  • Administer servers, desktop computers, tablets, smartphones, and software deployment
  • Apply security patching for Windows and Linux systems on premise and in AWS and Azure cloud service providers.
  • Upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Support and manage selection and implementation of new services as needed
  • Analyze and isolate issues to ensure uptime of mission critical services and applications
  • Provide Tier II support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Implement, upgrade and configure system software that supports infrastructure applications and system management applications per project or operational needs.
  • Evaluate system performance across the corporate network and make/recommend changes as needed.
  • Perform regular file archival and data migrations for us on premise and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) as necessary.
  • Perform network address assignment as required both inside our on-premises resources and in AWS and Azure as necessary.
  • Active Directory user and service account administration in AD and Azure AD.
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
