Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Server Engineer to manage, maintain, and migrate our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), AWS, Azure, Windows Server management, on-premises to cloud server migration, and G Suite administration. This individual will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability while driving cloud transformation initiatives and redesigning the architecture as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory (AD) Administration:
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain controllers.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls and authentication mechanisms.

Windows Server Management:
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates/patches.
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.

On-Premises to Cloud Server Migration:
- Lead and support cloud migration projects (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Assess existing infrastructure and develop migration strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

G Suite (Google Workspace) Administration:
- Manage user accounts, email configurations, security settings, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot issues related to G Suite applications and integrations.
- Implement policies for email security, spam filtering, and data retention.

Security & Compliance:
- Enforce security best practices across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration & Documentation:
- Work closely with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Redesign Server Architecture:
- Redesign the connectivity and flow of data as needed, following best practices.
- - Ensure servers and connections have redundancy in accordance with industry standards.

Monitoring, Backup & Ticketing:
- User requests will be followed via problem, Incident, and Change management.
- Monitor all the alerts and maintain the uptime to 99%
- Back up all devices per the standard procedure to meet security and compliance audit requirements.

Security and Compliance:
- Should know to support and provide the required artifacts to audit teams.
- Demonstrate if any challenges and new implementations should be implemented as per the best security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with on-premises to cloud migration (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (G-Suite) administration.
- Familiarity with server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, G-suite, Azure)
Understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).
