The Talent Reporting & Insights Specialist will create impactful reports and dashboards using PowerBI, ensuring data quality and supporting strategic insights across talent functions.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Talent Reporting & Insights Specialist to join our Talent Enablement Organization, focusing on delivering impactful reporting and data-driven insights across Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Learning. This role will leverage PowerBI to create dynamic, actionable reports and dashboards that inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives across the talent function. Strong creative thinking is essential to help reimagine data visualization, translate complex data into clear stories, and identify new ways to communicate insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into key Talent Organization metrics and performance indicators.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Use creative thinking to transform complex data sets into intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports. Develop new ways to communicate insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner closely with teams across Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Learning to understand reporting needs and tailor data solutions that meet business objectives.
- Metrics and KPIs Analysis: Work with stakeholders to define, refine, and measure KPIs. Translate data into actionable recommendations and identify trends or opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Data Integrity and Governance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data by implementing data validation processes and maintaining high-quality data standards within the reporting environment.
- Process Optimization: Continuously identify and implement ways to improve reporting processes, automate workflows, and enhance the functionality of dashboards, ensuring data is readily accessible and valuable to end users
- Training and Support: Provide training to HR and talent teams on how to use PowerBI dashboards and interpret data insights effectively. Serve as a resource for best practices in data visualization and reporting.
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting: Respond to ad hoc requests by developing reports and insights that support specific projects, analyses, or decision-making needs across the Talent Organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data reporting or analytics role, preferably within HR or Talent Functions.
- Expertise in PowerBI or other programs such as Tableau, including advanced data visualization, DAX functions, and dashboard creation.
- Strong create problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to present data insights in innovative ways.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other data tools.
- Knowledge of HR metrics, talent processes, and reporting best practices is a plus.
