At Abnormal, Talent Researchers are strategic partners who utilize in-depth market and internal intelligence to up-level the proactive identification and engagement of top-tier talent for our organization and as well as our overall Talent Strategy.
What you will do:
- Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiting colleagues to understand talent requirements.
- Identify and map out passive candidates with expertise relevant to Abnormal.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging talent pools to inform recruitment strategies.
- Develop and implement innovative messaging strategies to attract passive candidates.
- Act as a trusted guide for candidates while assessing alignment.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage data to align recruitment efforts with business objectives.
Must Haves:

6+ years in the recruiting space with at least 3 years of proven experience in in talent research, sourcing, and competitive intelligence within the tech industry.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Power user of the recruiting tech stack

Abnormal Behavior Technology (ABX) models the identity of both employees and external senders, profiles relationships and analyzes email content to stop attacks that lead to account takeover, financial damage and organizational mistrust. Though one-click, API-based Office 365 and G Suite integration, Abnormal sets up in minutes and does not disrupt email flow.
Abnormal Security was founded in 2018 by CEO Evan Reiser, CTO Sanjay Jeyakumar, Head of Machine Learning Jeshua Bratman, and Founding Engineers Abhijit Bagri and Dmitry Chechik. The team previously built behavioral profiling and machine learning technologies at Twitter, Google and Pinterest that are being applied to solve a problem that costs organizations $1 billion per year, according to the FBI. The Abnormal Security platform stops targeted phishing, business email compromise and account takeover attacks that have never been seen before.
