Job summary:
As an Analytics Solution Developer / Analyst you will partner Testing Managers to define Analytical and Automation solutions, using Analytical tools and technologies like Python, Alteryx, UiPath & ThoughtSpot, to realize efficiencies with the execution of the Compliance Test and enable defining of new Compliance and Control Testing approaches.
You will partner with Test Managers to understand Compliance Test designs and device analytical and automation solutions that evaluate the performance of Process controls defined to manage Risks and assess compliance toward legal obligations and regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities:
- Identify & build the right Analytical Solutions that deliver value: Deliver analytical solutions that can effectively and efficiently measure performance of process controls, by leveraging tools like Python, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot, UiPath & other Low Code / no code tools
- Network well to understand & Leverage Data Strategies effectively and re use efficiently: Ability to effectively network, research and collaborate to identify and leverage the right data strategy to enable analytical and automated solutions.
- Ability to generate exploratory and prescriptive analytics to drive a better understanding of the performance of compliance controls: to support control testing routines that seek to measure compliance to the various laws, regulations.
- Deliver multiple projects / effective multitasker: Partner with the Control evaluation managers and the business to deploy analytical solutions that enable control evaluations in the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). Analytical solutions will include:
- Automating the extraction of population data from the System of Records (SOR)
- Digitize the parts / the whole of the control testing activity.
- Leverage Analytics to define smart sampling approaches.
- Leverage analytics to unravel the drivers of non-compliance.
- Deliver self service solutions with tools like Alteryx, UiPath, COGNOS and ThoughtSpot
- Code Re-use: Drive Efficiencies with the re use of code and Data Strategies across various Testing activities.
- Continuous improvement Mindset: Actively contribute by bringing in new ideas and perspectives. Ability to constantly learn new tools & technologies.
- Adhere to Change management routines & Standards related to the creation, deployment, and management of intelligent analytics / automations:
- Build and Test Analytics / Automation scripts in accordance with the firm's policies & procedures.
- Document Business Requirements and document analytics / automations
- Update Compliance Test reports that call out the how the analytic was built, the data sources used, clearly explain all data transformations and analytics & clearly explain how nonconformities / exceptions were identified.
- Support the TCoE managers with validation of non-conformities / exceptions and derivation of remediation plans.
- Knowledge of AI / ML Solutions desirable: Deliver solution with the use of AI, ML tools, effectively collaborate with the AI / ML controls team in ensuring adherence to controls related to the deployment of AI / ML Model
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Qualified graduate with minimum of 8 yrs of relevant experience in Automation and Analytics
- Post graduate program with Data Analytics and Automation from a leading institute / University.
- Experience of working in an Audit / Testing / Compliance or risk management environment will be additionally preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in delivery automation solutions like Python / Alteryx / UiPath, Cognos, ThoughtSpot etc.
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication & project delivery skills
