*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in .NET backend development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in .NET technologies and be proficient in unit testing. This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain backend systems, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Implement and optimize backend functionalities with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of the application.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance functionality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are up-to-date.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
*Required Skills and Qualifications:*
- 5-8 years of experience in .NET backend development.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and related .NET technologies.
- Strong experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
