Role Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced engineering lead to establish and grow our engineering presence in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable software systems, a strong technical background, and a passion for leading and mentoring high-performance engineering teams. This role is crucial in shaping our technology roadmap as we build a cutting-edge funnel optimization platform for eCommerce. This person should be love working in a startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.
Responsibilities

Build and Lead: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team in Bangalore, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Technical Leadership: Act as the Technical Lead for the team, being hands-on and actively involved in building, maintaining, and reviewing code. Being opinionated on all parts of the stack.

Engineering Excellence: Drive engineering best practices, ensuring high-quality code, scalability, and system reliability. Set up robust processes for CI/CD, testing, and deployment.

Strategic Planning: Work closely with the leadership team to define technical and product strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term vision.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams—Product, Design, and Data—to deliver seamless and impactful solutions that delight our customers.

Innovation: Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning, staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging new technologies to drive competitive advantage.

Scaling Operations: Build the operational infrastructure needed to support a growing team and complex technical environment, including tools, systems, and workflows.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of scalable architectures, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), and modern development practices.

Track Record: Proven experience building teams and shipping successful products at scale, preferably in a high-growth startup or eCommerce environment.

Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire and lead teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
