Technical Lead

Summary of Position:

As a Software Technical Lead, you will be a core member of Digital Health Foundational Services Engineering team to lead design, develop & deliver software for Digital Health products. Tech Lead will be responsible for building software products with highest quality in a timely manner and provide technical leadership to team for software design, architecture, development, and maintenance. We need a team player with strong communication skills, motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design, develop and maintain/improve the features using the latest software development with Java, Python, Microservices and AWS technologies.
• Work in fast paced, agile/scrum development model on cutting edge technologies in delivering integrated software products collaborating with different teams, with a high do/say ratio and uncompromised quality.
• Collaborate with Principal & Chief Architects, cross-functional team architects, to understand their evolving requirements and translates them to architectural runway features and executes them.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation.
• Seek and provide feedback on design and development, authentication/authorization via API gateway
• Drive code reviews, define interfaces between code modules, applies existing technology to designs and contribute to Technical Design reviews.
• Be an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices.
• Write code that meets coding & quality standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
• Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through automation testing.
• Collaborating with QA teams for appropriate testing of features developed.
   

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent discipline with 7+ years of software design & development experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in full stack development (Proficiency in Angular, React, JS, HTML, CSS, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Python, Microservice, Springboot) in Linux environment.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud technologies – S3, Cloud Watch, Lambda, RDS, Dynamo DB, Glue, Step function, Event bridge, EC2 etc,
• Demonstrated Experience in API Development using REST, JSON and GraphQL, GIT, Databases and No SQL
• Demonstrated experience with implementation of micro services / containers, authorization & authentication modules via API gateway.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GIT, etc) and follow standard DevOps practices, establish Code quality metrics,
• Experience in implementation of security best practices, leading code reviews, performance & load testing, code optimization etc
• Demonstrated experience of software development life cycle as part of building successful Digital Engineering products. Proficient with technical design, programming, and testing practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development framework.
• Proven Analytical and Problem Resolution Skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise
• Passionate about delivering zero defect code that meet or exceed the proposed defect SLA and have high sense of accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Ability to deliver on multiple projects and manage priorities based on changing directions.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge in Healthcare Technology like HL7, FHIR, Device connectivity, DICOM
• Experience in developing customer facing Digital Health products and User management.
• Preferred AWS Certifications - AWS Solutions Architect/AWS Developer.
• Ability to lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies in a SAFe environment.
• Strong co-ordination capability with product and program management to prioritize and timely deliver results with strong quality. Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.

Language

Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
