Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Devops Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and Dev Ops and a strong background in Java and microservices. As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Dev Ops engineers and play the role of Kubernetes administrator

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations to improve application performance.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to cloud computing, container orchestration.

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure smooth integration of software applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards, while effectively managing competing priorities.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Hands on experience in Dev Ops -Build and execution, Kubernetes administration

  • Experience in monitoring and observability tools like – Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog etc.

  • Good knowledge in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and orchestration.

  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.

  • Experience with modern software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.

  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Good to have - Experience in Java programming, including core Java, multithreading, and object-oriented design principles, micro-services.
