Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of the RPM and associated implementation.
  • Has proven track record of Delivery management
  • Team building and leadership skills
  • Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal and people management skills
  • Possesses excellent collaboration and mentoring skills
  • Exposure to both delivery management and relationship building
  • •Additional PMP certified professional

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Projects delivery, having control across the multiple projects.
  • Develop and standardize best practices and process across teams.
  • Track modification costs; conduct project reviews & audits. Review & manage the project.
  • Track projects health and communicate to MGMT
  • Organize & manage the resource pool.
  • Optimization of resources through tracking and planning.
  • Study the plan for risks involved and pro- actively suggest risk mitigation strategies
  • Achieve project objectives to specified time, cost and quality
  • Work closely with all project teams, guide, offer technical assistance, mentor to ensure quality output from them.
  • Manage, nurture, train, develop human resources across project teams
  • Technical Analysis, Requirement collection gathering and working with Business and project teams for successful delivery of projects. Additional Responsibilities
  • Performance Management - Lead a team of Project Managers who in turn manage individual or multiple project teams comprising of engineers, set goals for individual Managers, measure results and maintain high standards of excellence
  • Screen, interview and hire new team members as and when necessary
  • Coach, mentor by sharing domain expertise and in turn motivate team mem
  • Contribute to knowledge management initiative in respective domain

Scope of Impact / Degree of Independence

  • Should manage large, highly complex projects involving one or more products. Translates high-level direction into specific action plans to implement solutions.
  • Uses judgment and discretion to determine work priorities and guide others.

Problem Complexity & Decision Making Authority

  • Build and manage the software project
  • Project Resource Staffing, Cost monitoring ,Risk management,
  • Manage Escalation
  • People Management/performance appraisal.
  • Develop process and technologies across practices based on Fixed cost and Time and Material basis.
