We are looking for a motivated and proactive Technical Recruiter to join the team! This position requires a highly organized, data-driven individual. You will play a crucial role in the success of recruiting and in Abnormal’s ability to scale in the APAC region. This role requires attention to detail and the uncanny ability to juggle multiple high-priority requests while interacting professionally with people inside and outside the organization

As a Technical Recruiter at Abnormal Security, you will partner with Engineering and Recruiting leadership to help build a world-class Engineering team at the center of our products.
As talent advisors on our team, we trust our recruiters to be consultants to our hiring teams. You’re the type of recruiter who partners with stakeholders and business leaders and who provides insight and strategy throughout the hiring process. You move and iterate quickly, thriving in opportunities to learn about teams, products, and technologies. At the end of the day, your impact is measured by bringing top talent to Abnormal to help shape the future of our products and realize our mission.

Must Haves
  • 6+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience, with at least 5 years recruiting for technical/engineering positions
  • Experience building globally distributed teams and working across multiple time zones
  • Experience building and scaling engineering teams, preferably in one or more of the 
    following areas of focus:
  1. Full Stack or Backend Engineering
  2. Engineering Management
  3. AI and Machine Learning

Ability to use internal or external data to influence stakeholders and drive departmental or organizational outcomes
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment


Nice to Haves
  • Background or education in a technical field—Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Software, Electrical Engineering, etc.
  • Experience building engineering teams from the ground up
