What you’ll achieve
- As a Technical Staff, you will be responsible for the Client Platform SW Strategic Products to Create/Build/Strengthen its Industry First Solutions that involves System Lifecycle Manageability, System Health & its Diagnostics, Telemetry product Intelligence and Cloud solutions across its CPG SW Stack. This is in collaboration with several Internal & External stakeholders including Dell Eco-system Partners, Services/Repair/Factory, IPS, Marketing, 3rd Party teams.
- You will work with set of best brains inside Dell as well as in the industry SMEs in leading the next generation Client PCs powered with AI & its client SW products that gives World Class Customer Experience.
You will:
- Responsible for Product Roadmap, Requirements Alignment, Innovation/Patentable Idea/Product TTM towards Next Gen Client Commercial/Consumer platforms. Responsible to work with external partners and internal Dell technology, Services, marketing, and engineering teams to Define/Design/Architect products for Next Gen Client Platforms.
- Responsible for Development, Debugging and Enhance existing features and functionality in Manageability, Diagnostics and Telemetry products and its underlying Client Platform related products.
- Cross functional Architectural leadership with CTO/Industry Partners and drive Standardization with Client PC Eco-system. Responsible for the Scalable Architecture and its Security/Legal Compliance.
- Leading E-2-E telemetry strategy for all Dell Client Products focusing on empowering Dell to make intelligent decisions and to build intelligent devices.
- Responsible to create Client Serviceability Roadmap and Area of Differentiations to improve contact avoidance, auto healing, and predictive diagnostics. Creating new software POCs and driving technology incubation by adapting new technologies.

Essential Requirements
- 16-22 years of relevant experience work experience in Software Architecture, Design and development of OS based Platform SW products using .NET/C#/C++ solid skills.
- Hands-on experience in driving the Architecture, Design and Development of Platform Software in the areas of Platform SW comprising of Manageability, System Health Management, Intelligent Diagnostics, Telemetry & Data Analytics products for Client Commercial/Consumer platforms.
- Good knowledge of Windows Internals & its Security, WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, WPF, PC architecture, Intel/AMD processor architecture(x64) and ARM64 Architecture, Industry standards that affect Client Server Architecture, Hybrid Cloud support, SW UX/Performance/Security/Inter-operability.
Desirable Requirements
- Must be able to design and develop from a Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset. Developed and maintained test automation within a automation Frameworks/Test Executive.
- Experience with automation within an Agile Development team as part of a CI/CD Pipeline (0-touch automation).
