Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor in the IT Support job family. Under limited supervision, assists in designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Makes modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Completes day-to-day Technical Support tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.
