Technology Engineer - Kafka & Streaming Platform

The Technology Engineer will design, implement, and manage high-throughput Kafka clusters, work with real-time streaming data pipelines, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate on cloud-native applications while ensuring reliability and performance.
We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Engineer with strong expertise in Kafka, Cloud, and CI/CD ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and managing high-throughput streaming platforms and cloud-native applications, along with a solid understanding of event-driven architecture and modern DevOps practices.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage high-throughput Kafka clusters in production environments
- Configure, monitor, and optimize Kafka for scalability, reliability, and performance
- Work with real-time streaming data pipelines and large-scale distributed systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
- Implement GitOps practices for deployment and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native applications
- Automate infrastructure and deployments using cloud automation tools
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance in streaming systems
- Apply design patterns and best practices in system architecture and development
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in high-throughput environments
- Experience with source control systems (Git)
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD
- Good exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI)
- Experience working with large-scale streaming datasets
- Knowledge of event-driven and streaming architectures
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of GitOps methodology
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and system design principles
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes environments
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana
- Prior experience in banking or financial services domain is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
