Technology Lead – Java L2 Technical Support – Bengaluru - Hybrid

GTO - Global Technology and Operations
Global Technology and Operations (GTO) is a leading provider of trade processing technology and managed services for financial services firms. GTO is comprised of a portfolio of solutions serving the Capital Markets, Asset Management and Wealth segments that automate the securities transaction lifecycle of equity, mutual fund, fixed income, foreign exchange and exchange traded derivatives. Our solutions provide automated straight-through-processing operations and enable buy- and sell-side financial institutions to efficiently and cost-effectively consolidate their books and records, gather and service assets under management, focus on their core businesses, and manage risk. We offer advanced solutions to meet our clients’ needs for Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation
- Analyze and fix the environmental issues proactively by addressing the client queries by providing the required details on time
- Prioritizing Defects with development and getting them scheduled appropriately
- Proven financial services experience, Regulator Reporting but definitely in Capital Markets.
- Manage and resolve critical incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve support processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to address escalated issues and contribute to application enhancements.
- Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required as this role demands interacting with multiple locations and stakeholders

Requirements / Qualifications
- At least 6-9 years of experience in technical support or operations roles within the SaaS and cloud environments.
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership position or similar roles overseeing support teams.
- Hands-on experience in reading XML queries and building XML.
- Experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in Java programming for backend support.
- Familiarity with scripting using JavaScript or similar languages to create automation scripts and tools.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to handle complex technical issues
Preferred Skills:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Nice to have:
- Strong understanding of G20 and CAT regulatory reporting requirements, including compliance measures and data integrity standards.
Shift Timings:
- Rotational Shift across all global time zones (APAC, EMEA & AMER).
