BU (Business Unit) Details:
GTO - Global Technology and Operations
Global Technology and Operations (GTO) is a leading provider of trade processing technology and managed services for financial services firms. GTO is comprised of a portfolio of solutions serving the Capital Markets, Asset Management and Wealth segments that automate the securities transaction lifecycle of equity, mutual fund, fixed income, foreign exchange and exchange traded derivatives. Our solutions provide automated straight-through-processing operations and enable buy- and sell-side financial institutions to efficiently and cost-effectively consolidate their books and records, gather and service assets under management, focus on their core businesses, and manage risk. We offer advanced solutions to meet our clients’ needs for Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) for products / scalable applications
- Research and evaluate new software tools, utilities, and practices
- Collaborate with multiple technical/functional teams for effective resolution of the problems
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality products to our users.
- Direct the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
- Take ownership of technical delivery against project timelines and requirements
- Mentor, support, and guide team members - including code reviews, best practices, pattern reviews
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree with 10-14 years of relevant experience
- Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA / J2EE
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing RESTful or other APIs.
- Experience in building micro services with Spring boot / Spring framework
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with Snowflake or Postgres for managing data streams
Nice to have:
- Experience on messaging framework – Kafka messaging system
- Knowledge on AWS (Amazon Web Services) / Azure cloud services
- Exposure using GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins builds, Dockers
- Person should have worked in Agile Environment
