Role: ThousandEyes Monitoring SME – End-User Experience, Level 10 Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Monitoring SME with hands-on expertise in ThousandEyes, The candidate will be responsible for managing ThousandEyes Endpoint Agents, configuring synthetic and real user tests, and designing dashboards for real-time visibility into user experience and application performance. Must Have Skills: - ThousandEyes Product Expertise (Endpoint Agents, Synthetic Testing, Path Visualization, Dashboard Creation) - Basic Scripting (Python/Bash) for automation and data extraction Good to Have Skills: - Experience with SaaS and Collaboration Tools (Zoom, Webex, Teams) - Knowledge of Wi-Fi and VPN performance metrics - Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) - Exposure to Cisco networking tools and integrations Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Deploy and manage ThousandEyes Endpoint Agents across distributed user environments. Configure synthetic and real user monitoring tests to track application latency, network path performance, and end-user experience. Monitor and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, and SaaS application performance from the user’s perspective. Design and maintain dashboards for real-time visibility into user experience, service health, and operational metrics. Collaborate with IT and network teams to resolve user-impacting issues and optimize performance. Document monitoring configurations, test strategies, and incident response procedures. Technical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ThousandEyes monitoring implementation and administration (Endpoint Agents, Synthetic Testing, Dashboard Creation). Proficiency in basic scripting and exposure to ITSM or SaaS monitoring is preferred. Professional Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Educational Qualification and Certification: Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (Cisco, ThousandEyes) are a plus.
