Job Summary
As a QA Engineer Lead, you will oversee the quality assurance process for software projects, leading a team of QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies, managing testing activities, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the QA team in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Oversee manual and automated testing processes, ensuring the identification and resolution of defects.
- Develop and implement testing strategies and best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage the QA team’s workload, provide guidance, and mentor junior QA engineers.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to improve software quality and development processes.
- Drive the adoption of new testing tools and technologies to optimize the QA process.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- If Media Domain experience is missing, hire with good testing experience in varied domains with exposure to automation, security and performance testing.
- Plus experience in leading testing of web based applications
