Job Summary
As a supervisor in financial services operations, you will oversee tasks related to accounting, banking, and securities processing. Your role involves ensuring adherence to operational procedures, managing a team, and maintaining high accuracy levels. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to drive client satisfaction and operational success.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures for accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor CTQs and benchmarks daily.
- Track, analyze, and escalate outstanding items.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly volume targets.
- Maintain high accuracy with no tolerance for error.
- Respond to query emails with clear and concise remarks.
- Ensure accuracy in BAU activities and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide solutions and action plans for open item resolutions.
- Support the team in delivering top-quality operations.
- Manage team performance through coaching and feedback.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on pending requests.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in financial services.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess a strong reconciliation background.
- Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills.
- Manage time effectively and work under pressure.
- Focus on client care and customer service practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Possess product knowledge in Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
- Familiarity with reconciliation tools like Smart Stream TLM
- Analyze process flows and suggest operational improvements.
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
- Understand and reduce operational risks.
- Influence others and work independently under pressure.
