Founded in 2023 by IIT and Stanford GSB alumni, Truva aims to build the most delightful and trustworthy home-buying experience in India (akin to Spinny for Homes). Our comprehensive home-buying platform enables the buyer's journey end to end, right from discovering great houses and arranging home visits to ensuring all legal and financial support. We are a young company, about 9 months old, and have already raised a seed round of $3Mn from marquee investors, signalling our potential for rapid growth.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our core founding team. You will be the second engineer at Truva and would work directly with the founders and the rest of the founding team.
At Truva, you get to build the world’s best online home buying experience and will solve core fundamental problems starting from discovery to visits to transaction closing.
Home buying experience is a fundamental problem that has existed for decades and this role would require the candidate to ignore the status quo and work with founders to solve it like a customer experience problem rather than a real estate problem
What you’ll do:
- Work directly with CTO and other founders to redefine the online home buying experience. Essentially build a spinny for homes.
- Build the state of art real estate intelligence tool - TruIQ
- Build internal tools to drive SOPs, Analytics, Decision Making and coordination among multiple business teams, operation teams and channel partners
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in product companies
- Past full stack experience is a good to have but not a must have. “Must have” is the motivation to work full stack.
- Strong interpersonal skills and who can work directly with product managers, designers, and other business leaders
- Balanced mindset when it comes to building new systems vs using 3P systems
- Not looking at any particular tech stack as long as the candidate has worked with any new age technology like nodejs, java, python, react, Angularjs
