TS Team Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
• Serves as Project Lead for customer assignments within an area of technical expertise.
• Communicates project status and results to clients.
• Responsible for defining project scope, planning, report review and accuracy, meeting agreed deadlines, and managing project related activities.
• Coordinates department activities and instructions to staff, scheduling and reviewing work to keep project completion dates. Interacts with customers and communicates (technical) issues.
• Acts to address customer concerns and resolve issues for their project.
• Support Transaction Securities business externally through meetings at client sites, attendance at industry related events and other meetings.
• Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job at the project or customer level.
• Manages and reviews related internal documents for accuracy.
• Maintain/improve technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, obtaining applicable certifications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of the art practices and participating in professional societies and cross-departmental task forces.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or University degree in a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience required.
• In-depth knowledge the area of interest.
• Experience with direct reports and project management.
