Design, implement, and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Ansible and Azure DevOps. Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker/Kubernetes, implement monitoring and logging (Prometheus, ELK), ensure security, high availability, and scalability, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and mentor junior DevOps engineers while collaborating across teams to automate deployments and improve system reliability.
Job role : Devops Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure with best practices in mind.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible for maintaining resources/codes/changes.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate application deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and cloud environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with strong knowledge of CI/CD and automations.
- Expertise in Ansible configuration management.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps(must have)).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, etc.).
- Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Ability to write and debug scripts (Bash, Python, Groovy or similar).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands on experience on Azure DevOps, CI/CD management, Role definitions is mandatory.
- Hands on experience on K8s and docker is a must.
- Containerizing & Clustering: Compose, Docker, Dockerfiles, ECS, Helm, Kubernetes, Nginx, HAProxy.
- Experience with Open-Source Database such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL.
- Hands on experience on caching data bases like Redis, Hazelcast.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
