Position Summary:-
An ideal candidate will be working specifically on financial system implementations, enhancements and other strategic initiatives that support MetLife's Global Financial Management Group. An individual with experience in the implementation or enhancement of Finance applications. A candidate should have experience in the preparation of various documentation such as: Project Charters, Business Requirements Documents, Project Plans, Test plans etc. The candidate will also assist with the User Acceptance testing and Testing governance, status reporting, weekly update calls, and presentations to upper management. Knowledge of MetLife's business operations and financial systems is a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities:-
• Ensure the availability and performance of applications meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for application enhancements and upgrades.
• Ability to lead the project and manage internal resources & third-party vendors to ensure successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with business users/heads and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication, and responsiveness.
• Ability to read and understand requirement documents such as BRD, FRD etc.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing and collation of test results and prepare sign off related documentation.
• Reviewing user feedback to determine potential defects or areas for clarity, working closely with Data governance, IT, and other team members to refine user experience and perform testing to ensure functionality.
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.
• Keep stakeholders informed of system updates, issue resolution status and technical changes.
• Develops, or leads the development of, detailed project charters, project plans, budget estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Runs project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Monitors the progress of project tasks and milestones to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
• Provides updates to business leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives
• Leads and coordinates completion of all project validation tasks, including preparation of testing strategy, test scripts and test timelines
