Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving BNY's Engineering initiatives within the Full-Stack Development job family. This position is crucial in building and enhancing scalable web applications that align with BNY's strategic pillars of innovation and operational excellence. By adhering to BNY's principles of integrity and collaboration, the Full-Stack Engineer ensures that engineering solutions are delivered with precision and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to the seamless integration of complex systems. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the design and development of full-stack applications by utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performance. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Ensure high quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processes. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of BNY's technology solutions. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies to advance BNY's engineering capabilities. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-9 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise in full-stack development. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within diverse teams.
