Tylsemi is building and scaling high-impact operations in India. We’re looking for a hands-on leader to help establish strong execution rhythms, support a growing team, and ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly as we expand.
Role OverviewAs Head of India Engineering & Operations, you will own the build out of engineering and operational backbone for Tylsemi’s India presence. This is a high-ownership role for a dynamic leader who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from scratch, and can manage people while driving measurable outcomes.
What You’ll DoBuild and lead India operations and global engineering teams across RTL, Verification, Physical Design, CAD, and Operations
Define and drive company vision, engineering strategy, and execution roadmap
Own end-to-end delivery of customer programs from spec-to-silicon with a strong focus on quality, predictability, and scalability
Partner directly with customers on engagements, requirements, and long-term roadmap alignment
Build, scale, and mentor high-performing teams while establishing a strong engineering and execution culture
Drive hiring, organizational design, and capability development across geographies
Align India execution with global priorities and act as a key bridge between regions
Represent the company within the India ecosystem (customers, partners, hiring market)
Contribute to business growth, strategic partnerships, and long-term company building
Own day-to-day India operations and ensure teams have what they need to execute effectively
Build and improve operational processes, documentation, and reporting to increase speed and quality
Set weekly/monthly operating rhythms (planning, reviews, metrics) and drive follow-through across stakeholders
Manage and develop a small team; hire and scale the team as needed over time
Coordinate cross-functional execution with internal partners to remove blockers and keep priorities on track
Track key operational metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions
Support vendor/partner coordination and basic operational compliance needs as the India office grows
Act as a culture carrier—reinforcing clarity, accountability, and high standards
20+ years of experience in operations, program/project management, business operations, or similar roles
Demonstrated people management or team leadership experience (formal or informal)
Strong operational judgment: ability to prioritize, simplify, and execute under time constraints
Excellent communication skills—clear updates, crisp documentation, and stakeholder alignment
Comfort working in fast-changing environments and taking ownership without heavy direction
Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action and measurable results

Exposure to hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Experience working with distributed teams or global stakeholders
Strong spreadsheet/metrics skills and comfort building simple dashboards
