We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Web Developer (Front-end and Back-end) who is adept at PHP (including PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.3), Python, and MySQL, along with Postgres and Redis database management systems. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for coding and maintaining our website, blog, and CRM integrations while ensuring an exceptional backend and seamless user interface.
Responsibilities include developing a robust backend, integrating CRMs, and building scalable solutions to align with the company’s evolving needs. The developer will also manage hosting (DigitalOcean) and WordPress blogs, collaborating closely with the business stakeholders to meet project requirements.
This role offers a permanent REMOTE work setup with flexible hours, contingent on skills and experience.
This role requires mandatory overlap hours with teams in the U.S. from - 8 am - 12 pm PST
- Developing a robust backend using PHP, Python, and MySQL, and integrating databases like Postgres and caching solutions like Redis to align with the company's evolving needs.
- Build and manage CRM integrations to meet business needs. Customize CRM use cases, automation with hands-on technical expertise.
- Develop scalable backend solutions that align with CRM and operational workflows.
- Build and maintain the back-end architecture to support high-performance and scalable applications.
- Creating website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript (JS), Ajax, and Bootstrap.
- Managing and maintaining the website, blog (WordPress), and hosting environment (DigitalOcean, Linux on Droplet).
- Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
- API Management: Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
- Scalability: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Developing APIs and web applications, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and tools like Moodle and Odoo.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine business and functional requirements, project scopes, and specifications.
- Staying abreast of web development trends and best practices, bringing innovative solutions to the table using modern Front-end technologies like Mustache, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Validate and test across various browsers and devices, ensuring consistent user experience and accessibility.
- Perform regular file backups to local directories for recovery purposes.
- Handle basic SEO optimizations as needed.
- Any experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), like Moodle, is a plus.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience in web programming of more than 3 years with proficiency in PHP (including versions 7.4 and 8.3), Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
- API Management: Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
- Scalability: Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with CRM integration, custom coding for use cases, and marketing automation workflows.
- Proficiency in implementing and maintaining CRM tools.
- Must have hands-on experience in string core PHP.
- Must have proficiency with content management systems, specifically WordPress
- Expertise in building web applications and APIs
- Should be aggressive in problem diagnosis and creative at problem-solving skills.
- Should have a solid ability in both written and verbal communication in English
- Must have proficiency in MySQL, and familiarity with Postgres.
- Good to have an excellent knowledge of jQuery, XML, AngularJS and NodeJS.
- Expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS), like moodle, is an advantage.
- Experience in web hosting and server management, particularly Linux on Droplet, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process is an advantage
- Should have knowledge of programming language and technical terminology.
