Job Title: Senior QA Engineer – CMS Automation
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing and hands-on experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, or similar platforms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of our CMS-based digital products through robust test planning, automation frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for CMS-driven web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Define and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites (manual and automated).
• Conduct functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing for CMS components and workflows.
• Validate CMS templates, components, and authoring interfaces against business and UX requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues found in testing, log defects, and verify fixes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for test automation best practices.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Drupal, or WordPress.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong scripting/coding skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CMS automation using Sling APIs, CRX, or Granite UI automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with Accessibility and SEO testing for CMS-based websites.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Xray).
