Primary Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Configuration: Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Core HCM and Compensation modules. This includes managing complex business process (BP) definitions, organization structures, and hierarchical frameworks to support a dynamic workforce.
- Security Administration: Act as the primary architect for Workday security models. You will design and maintain security groups (role-based, user-based, and intersection) to ensure data integrity and compliance while maintaining an intuitive user experience.
- Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to elicit high-level business requirements. You will transform these needs into technical specifications that prioritize scalability and adhere to industry best practices.
- Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Reporting. You will develop sophisticated data visualizations, including Advanced, Composite, Matrix, and Trended reports, utilizing complex Calculated Fields to drive data-informed decision-making via executive dashboards.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Partner with business owners to develop comprehensive test strategies. You will oversee End-to-End (E2E) testing, develop rigorous test scripts, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure defect-free deployments.
- Operational Excellence: Provide Tier 3 functional support by troubleshooting complex system issues and managing the ticket lifecycle via Jira and ServiceNow. You will ensure all system documentation and functional artifacts are maintained with high precision.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with People/HR teams and product developers to evaluate Workday releases (semi-annual updates) and identify new features that drive operational efficiency and system adoption.

Workday Expertise: Proven track record in Workday Core HCM, Compensation, and the Report Writer toolset.
Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to perform deep-dive data analysis and translate raw data into actionable insights through Calculated Fields and Dashboards.
Process Improvement: A mindset focused on continuous improvement, identifying "friction points" in current workflows and proposing automated or streamlined solutions.
Communication: Highly articulate with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
