DXC Technology India is seeking great talent to join the Global Workday Practice.
The Workday Consultant will act independently and advise on or manage the solution configuration for large complex Workday engagements. He/she will provide subject matter expertise supporting delivery, testing and both presales and post-production engagements.
The Workday Consultant will be an important customer spokesperson for the DXC Workday Practice. The Consultant will help create strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions and will demonstrate how customers can realize substantial value by deploying the Workday Payroll solution. Could be a part of the application management support team supporting Workday functional system setup, testing and Integrations or Data Migration streams.
He/she will provide subject matter expertise across multiple HR domains and contribute world-class approaches to solutions, discovery, fit-gap, process design and reengineering. The Consultant acts as the key interface to the end user or customer.
Primary Skills/Requirements
- Minimum 4 - 8 years of Work experience in Workday Technical as Integration consultant
- Certifications in Workday Integration Core and/or Studio (Preferable). Or Candidates having Very Good Hands-on Experience without certification are also considerable.
- Minimum experience of 4 years in workday integration skills including Core Connectors, Document Transformations (XSLT), Studio, EIB, creating Calc Field, Custom Reports and BIRT report design , PECI Integrations
- Knowledge in Workday HCM, Absence and Time Tracking modules & related business processes
- Able to understand payroll business processes and experience in gathering user requirements
- Able to work independently on root cause analysis & issue resolution
- Preferably > 5 years of hands-on development experience in Workday
- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate with end-users and able to communicate effectively
- Creating all sorts of complex reports and resolving issues with existing reports
- Provide support for Workday Inbound / Outbound integration issues, an enhancement to existing integrations, as well building new integrations. Provide support for incident management and integration monitoring
- Coordinating with Third-Party Vendors as required
- Involved in analyzing integration requirements and developing solutions to best meet customer requirements
- Good at Data Migrations between the Tenants – Using the Workday Tools (Object Transporter, WD Studio)
- Flexible to work in different shifts.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Workday Integration Core and/or Studio Certification (Preferred, not mandatory)
- Previous experience on HCM solutions like PeopleSoft, SAP will be advantage
- Practical experience gained on projects
- Practical experience gained on data migration and/or integrations projects (e.g. during “to Cloud” transformation projects)
- Strong analytical mindset and usage of analytics and reporting tools (e.g. pivot tables)
