The Accounts Receivable Specialist I - Billing is responsible for generating accurate customer invoices, reviewing supporting documentation, and resolving billing-related issues. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Performance Objectives

• Create and process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, and supporting documentation to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
• Research and resolve customer billing inquiries, disputes, and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and other internal departments to resolve billing issues and support business goals.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and departmental controls.
• Support month-end close activities and other accounts receivable functions as needed.

Competitive Candidate Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in billing
• Experience creating and processing customer invoices.
• Ability to review contracts and supporting documentation for billing accuracy.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, billing systems, or other CRM required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
• Must be able to work evening shift from 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP, billing, or subscription management systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume billing environment.
