This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.
What you will Do:
Responsibilities:
-Working as an Individual contributor and would be reporting to a Project Manager in the Team
-Responsible for all enhancement requests received from the delivery, Gap Analysis and sharing effort estimation.
-Performing the Investigation, Design, and user acceptance testing.
-Would be responsible for handling multiple Customer issues and escalations with guidance and enhancements on the product.
-Resolve CRs/Defects in a timely manner and provide regular updates in standups on the progress.
-Analytic ability to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solution
What you will Bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 2-4 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 2-4 years’ experience in system software development on Linux platform with Software Engineer experienced in C/C++
- Mandatory Skills: Programming with C/C++ module development with excellent debugging skills using GDB,OOPS.
- Domain: Audio and Video Codecs for VOIP and LTE /WebRTC/ conference engine .
- Environment: Strong Linux/RHEL 64 bit environment work experience must. Kubernetes/Container knowledge
- Frameworks: Good to know Intel performance Primitives ,GRPC, WebRTC or Linux kernel internals
- RFC or Protocols: Familiarity with any protocols like RTP, RTCP, SNMP, SIP, MRCP, SRTP, RTSP, SS7, ISUP, DTLS
- Good to have Knowledge: Digital Signal processing
