This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Compute Cloud Services Engineering at HPE helps organizations power their edge-to-cloud platform with proven, workload-optimized products, solutions, and services. Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
- Designs (QA)quality assurance and test processes for portions and subsystems of the cloud services
- Develop and implement automation strategies for testing cloud services, considering scalability, reliability, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyzes design and determines test scripts, coding, automation and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
- Automate test cases for functional, non-functional, and integration testing of cloud applications and microservices.
- Executes and writes portions of testing plans and documentation for assigned portion of the cloud application and microservices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborates and communicates with management regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Create clear and concise documentation for automated processes, test plans, and test results.
- Represents the software quality assurance team for all phases
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically, 2+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Domain Experience:
- Understanding of software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and writing testing scripts.
- Understanding of cloud
- Automation/Manual Testing with Python.
- Understanding in using software quality assurance tools and processes.
- Understanding in deriving the test plan and solution test use cases
- Understanding with Agile methodology and tools
- Understanding with GitHub and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Dockers & Kubernetes is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good understanding of test automation for cloud services
- Good understanding of software architecture.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and test automation (methodologies, frameworks)
- Understanding of test planning and test execution - manual and automation
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS
- Good analytical skills, ability to innovate and find new ways to solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Good to have skills:
- Basic understanding of Microservices.
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based deployment models.
- Basic working knowledge of software tools like Github, Jira.
