The Digital Designer transforms abstract ideas, written content, and data into compelling digital assets that enhance the user experience, drive engagement, and support TraceGains’ overall goals. This role is responsible for creating diverse high-quality designs that uphold the look and feel of the TraceGains brand. They use leading design techniques and best practices to highlight key takeaways and simplify complex concepts. From interactive web pages to motion graphics to campaign development to infographics, they create designs and videos for a wide variety of digital media to increase awareness and demand for TraceGains’ brand and solutions in the marketplace.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Working with our digital marketing to design and implement visual stories for awareness, conversion, engagement

Support the creation of optimized digital collateral including landing pages, interactive web assets (ebooks, reports, graphs, etc.), animations, banners, videos, templates, and more

Collaborate with colleagues across teams, sharing and drafting ideas from conception via moodboards, storyboards, wireframes, etc. to achieve end results that elucidate the TraceGains narrative and further the evolution of the brand

Devise and deliver next-level visuals to be used across the TraceGains website (including all proprietary subdomains), emails, blogs, and social media channels, as well as tradeshows and events

Embrace A/B testing when designing and building landing pages that boost both conversions and on-page engagement, depending on the goal

Craft product visuals and videos that convey not just the features of our solutions, but the impact they can have on various audience segments; translate the practical functionality into bigger picture benefits through videography and motion graphics

Prepare files from design drafts to final versions—including but not limited to color correcting, retouching, resizing, and reformatting for optimal web and mobile experiences

Balance multiple projects to support both the sales and marketing organizations, while meeting all deadlines and job expectations

Ensure images and video render correctly across all digital devices and channels

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and/or related studies
-
Minimum 3+ years in graphic and/or digital design role
-
Good foundation in design fundamentals, methodologies, and techniques (typography, color theory, illustration, layout, best practices)

Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) and Microsoft (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Web design and development experience (specifically working with WordPress, Divi, HTML5, Unbounce, and Hubspot)

Video editing, animation, and motion graphics experience—bonus if you’ve worked on product illustrations in the SaaS space before

A portfolio that will be assessed on creative excellence, storytelling, problem solving and technical mastery

Passionate about staying up to date with latest design trends

Must have a strong eye for visual composition with creative thinking skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

Deadline-oriented, able to work collaboratively with marketing colleagues

Food & Beverage and Supplements industry interest a plus, but not required

Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
