Job Description SummaryThe Executive Account Manager - Indirect Business, Balkans will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and market penetration through indirect sales channels in the Balkans. This role involves working with Channel Partners (CPs) to develop and implement sales strategies that leverage GE HealthCare's extensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions, with focus on the Diagnostic Imaging Systems. Responsible for managing relationships with CPs, managing direct business projects when necessary, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and achieving revenue targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales and market share objectives in the Balkans.
  • Distributor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with distributors and other indirect sales partners.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in the region.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and business practices comply with local regulations and standards.
  • Sales Management: Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and support to achieve business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business performance and market conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the medical devices industry, with a focus on indirect sales and distributor management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market in the Balkans.
  • Manage opportunities and funnels using applicable CRM sales funnel tools (ie Salesforce) and reporting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
