Job Details

Under general direction of the Director of Finance, primarily focuses on expense management with US Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Create the monthly estimate, annual plan, and annual long range plan and related variance analysis and other financial analysis to support projections.

  • Analyze monthly results in order to provide insights to business partners and stakeholders on the operations.

  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders with regard to projection creation as well as variance analysis in order to tell a consistent story across the business and to gain more insights into the results.

  • Assist business in determining initiatives to generate savings and measuring the results after implementation

  • Assist accounting with the monthly close processes with entries and reclasses as required to ensure expenses are recorded to the correct accounts

  • Ad hoc analysis and project work to support the operations and finance team as needed.

  • Support team members in their professional development

Education and Work Experience

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training; normally requires a minimum of six (6) years progressively responsible related experience, including at least two (2) years’ experience at a manager level.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

  • Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements

  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
