About Disseqt

Disseqt is the Assurance Layer for Enterprise AI Operations — a real-time platform to test & detect, protect & enforce, and prove & comply across the full AI agent lifecycle. We help enterprises, GSIs, and financial services institutions deploy AI with confidence, at scale, and in compliance with the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST, and FCA requirements.

The Role

This is a hands-on, generalist HR role. You'll be the person who makes sure payroll runs on time, benefits are administered correctly, records are compliant, our HR systems actually work, and employees get a straight answer when they need one. You'll be our first dedicated HR hire, reporting directly to the VP FinOps & Partnerships and coordinating with local advisors/providers in Ireland, the UK, and India as needed.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll & Benefits Administration
  • Own end-to-end payroll processing across our Ireland, UK, and India entities, coordinating with external payroll providers where used.

  • Administer employee benefits (health insurance, pension/retirement contributions, statutory entitlements) and act as the point of contact for provider queries.

  • Ensure payroll and benefits comply with local statutory requirements in each jurisdiction we operate in.

Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Manage onboarding end-to-end: contracts, right-to-work checks, system access requests, induction scheduling.

  • Handle changes throughout employment: promotions, role changes, compensation updates, transfers between entities.

  • Manage offboarding: exit process, final pay, equipment return, access revocation.

Compliance & Recordkeeping
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records across all entities in line with Irish, UK, and Indian employment law.

  • Keep HR policies current and ensure they reflect applicable regulations (working time, leave entitlements, data protection/GDPR).

  • Support statutory reporting and any compliance requirements tied to funding, investment due diligence, or certifications.

HR Technology (HRIS)
  • Own and administer our HRIS, including data integrity, workflow configuration, and reporting.

  • Identify and implement improvements or additional tools as the team grows (e.g. applicant tracking, performance management).

  • Ensure integrations with payroll, benefits providers, and IT/access management (we currently use JumpCloud for SSO/device management) work reliably.

Employee Support
  • Be the first point of contact for day-to-day employee questions : leave, benefits, policy clarifications, general HR queries.

  • Triage and resolve issues, escalating where needed.

  • Help maintain a consistent, fair employee experience as we grow across multiple countries.

Recruitment
  • Support end-to-end recruitment coordination: scheduling, candidate communications, offer letter preparation.

  • Maintain job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate pipelines alongside hiring managers.

  • Help build out repeatable, lightweight hiring processes as the company scales headcount.

What We're Looking ForEssential
  • 7+ years in an HR operations, HR generalist, or People Operations role, ideally spanning payroll, benefits, and compliance.

  • Practical experience running payroll and understanding statutory obligations in at least India, multi-country experience is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable owning a HRIS (setup, admin, reporting): direct system experience welcome, but adaptability matters more than a specific tool.

  • Meticulous with records and process; comfortable being the person who catches the compliance gap before it becomes a problem.

  • Clear, direct communicator; comfortable being the primary HR contact for employees at all levels.

Desirable
  • Experience operating across multiple legal entities/jurisdictions simultaneously.

  • Prior experience at a small or scaling company, where you're building a process rather than just following it.

  • Exposure to recruitment coordination or ATS management.

  • Familiarity with data protection requirements (GDPR) as they apply to employee data.
