About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Site Lead to support and run day-to-day people operations at our Mangalore office — working closely with the Site Manager and global HR team to ensure a compliant, well-run, and people-first environment across a 24/7 setup.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who brings deep expertise in HR compliance and labor law, has experience working in multi-shift operations, and can execute seamlessly as part of a global recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations team. You will be the on-ground HR presence at the site — the person employees turn to, the one who keeps things running, and the connector between Mangalore and the broader Entrupy team.

Reports to: Site Manager & India HR Manager
What you'll do
HR Operations & Compliance
- Support end-to-end HR operations for the Mangalore site — employment structures, contracts, documentation, and statutory compliance under India's labor laws (including the new labor codes)
- Ensure Entrupy's practices at the site are audit-ready and aligned with applicable regulations across PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, and other statutory requirements
- Work closely with the Manager and global HR to implement the right employment structure as the site scales from contractors to a fully compliant entity setup
- Serve as the on-ground HR Business Partner — supporting managers on performance, employee relations, grievances, and engagement
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Partner with the global recruiting team to support hiring for site roles — owning local sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
- Work closely with global HR to ensure a seamless candidate experience from offer through onboarding
- Drive onboarding and induction for all new hires at the site, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience aligned with global standards
Operations Support
- Work with the Manager and operations leadership to support a 24/7 shift structure — ensuring coverage, coordination, and continuity across shifts
- Serve as the on-ground point of contact for the site day-to-day, connecting the Mangalore team with leadership and global functions as needed
- Support the development of site-level processes, norms, and culture that can scale with the business
What you bring
- 8–12 years of experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles, with a significant portion in compliance-heavy environments
- Deep expertise in Indian labor law and statutory compliance — including working knowledge of the new labor codes
- Experience working in a 24/7 or multi-shift operational environment
- Proven ability to execute as part of a distributed, global HR team while being the sole HR presence on the ground
- Strong recruitment experience — able to support hiring for a range of roles in close coordination with a global team
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch in a fast-moving startup
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across levels and geographies
- Flexibility to work across shifts on a need basis is a strong plus
