As a Key Account Manager, we are looking for passionate individuals who can maintain and enhance existing client relationships through cross-selling and up-selling our services, while also creating new business opportunities wherever possible.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Key Account Manager should be able to:
- Develop a good understanding of customers' needs, their industry, competitors, and market pressures, and incorporate these insights into compelling value propositions.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with decision-makers at every level, earning their trust and becoming a valued advisor on business, technology, and operational challenges.
- Open new buyer relationships and create new revenue streams within customer organizations by identifying contacts and initiating discussions.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), understand customer challenges, ensure customer satisfaction (CSAT), and partner with delivery managers and technical teams to maintain a seamless client relationship.
- Forecast revenue and resource requirements for customer engagements in a timely manner to ensure a superior customer experience.
- Spearhead pitches and new business development initiatives within the assigned portfolio. Write proposals and manage deals through to contract closure.
- Maintain close oversight of all work in progress.
- Manage and grow Fortune 1000 (F1000) accounts.
- Exposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain would be an added advantage.
- Positive attitude, quick thinker, and strong problem-solver with the flexibility and resilience to operate independently in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Prior successful experience in sales/account management within enterprise software services.
- Experience in Analytics & Big Data services would be an added advantage.
- Strong solution-selling and delivery management experience.
- Proven track record of consistent overachievement against targets.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- 4-8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-MBA experience in B2B Sales and Account Management for enterprise customers.
- Experience in technology and consultative selling.
- MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 business schools preferred.
