About the role

We are looking for a Lead System Engineer to support windows, MacBook system and take care all respective technical, hardware issue. You will be part of a Windows engineering team that is responsible for take care of joiner, LWD formalities, OS deployment, security patch update that meet business objectives and SLAs.



Responsibilities


• Needs to work on Active Directory such as creating user accounts, resetting passwords, creating groups, etc.

• Need to work on Gsuite such as creating user accounts, resetting passwords, creating groups etc.

• Need to take care of patching activity and system health status.

• Adhere to corporate change management policies and practices and serve as liaison between service groups, employees and IT management to coordinate service impacts.

• Should also participate in daily operational duties such as: responding to support requests and troubleshooting service problems or outages Network Troubleshooting, & Problem Analysis following SLAs

• Evaluate new tools/technologies and suggest improvements to System, server monitoring, performance, capacity, and scalability.

• Knowledge of IT Security with respect to software and OS scenarios is essential.

• Work on Manage Engine ServiceDesk.

• Work on Jamf pro self-service.

• Firmware up-gradation and troubleshooting on different laptop, AV, Biometric and Telephone devices.

• Work on various tools like Manage engine, Jamf pro, Zabbix etc and ticketing tools like JIRA and manage SLAs

• Ability to configure Windows Virtual and Physical machines using various deployment methods.

• Must be self-driven and able to work with little supervision and direction

• Mentor team members on technical issues

• Excellent time management skills, must be capable of multi-tasking in a high workload environment

• Practical knowledge of Change and Incident management procedures

• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

• POC for any support of higher authority.

• Need to maintain store IT assets and license details


Candidate requirements

• 6 – 11 years of complete experience windows support, system administrator and IT support solutions for large enterprise.

• Hands-on experience on IT support/system configurations/ software deployment, and troubleshooting critical system issues.

• Installation & troubleshooting of Windows OS, MacBook, and windows server.

• Strong work experience and Hardware knowledge of Macintosh(Macbook OS), dell, Lenovo laptop.

• Configuration & Troubleshooting of email clients, VPN client, Network Printer, Wifi etc on MAC/ Windows on desktops/laptops/ mobile devices.

• Ability to work Front line support via telephones, chats, and emails to end-users.

• Experience in one of the Ticketing tools (ex: Jira, Service now)

• ITIL process (Incident/Change management) understanding.

• Must be proficient in verbal and written English communications

• Strong customer service orientation.
