Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India. 

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital). 

The Role - We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Enterprise Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will focus on driving the adoption and ongoing success of bank offers within our existing enterprise merchant base. You will be responsible for both expanding the number of merchants utilizing bank offers ("hunting" for adoption) and ensuring their continued participation and optimization of these offers ("farming" for retention). You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and increasing merchant satisfaction with the Razorpay platform.

What You Will Do

Merchant Engagement & Adoption (Hunting)

    • Identify enterprise merchants within the Razorpay ecosystem who are not currently utilizing bank offers but could benefit from them
    • Proactively reach out to these merchants to educate them on the benefits of bank offers and the potential impact on their business
    • Present Razorpay's value proposition for bank offers, tailoring your approach to the merchant's specific industry, customer base, and business goals
    • Onboard new merchants to the bank offer program, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup process

Account Management & Retention (Farming)

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing enterprise merchants who are already running bank offers.
    • Understand their business goals, challenges, and requirements related to bank offer performance.
    • Analyze bank offer performance data and provide insights and recommendations to merchants on how to optimize their campaigns.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the scope of existing bank offer programs by introducing new offers, target customer segments, or promotional strategies.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to merchants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and best practices for running successful bank offers.
    • Address any merchant concerns or issues related to bank offers in a timely and effective manner.

Bank Offer Pipeline Optimization

    • Collaborate with the banking alliance sales team to identify and secure attractive bank offers for merchants.
    • Monitor the performance of existing bank offers and identify opportunities to improve their effectiveness.

Sales Strategy and Execution

    • Develop and implement strategies to increase merchant adoption and retention of bank offers.
    • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards to management.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the payments and fintech space, particularly related to promotional offers and customer engagement.

Cross Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with internal teams (operations, tech and product) to ensure any request on offer configuration/ enhancements related to offers run on merchant checkouts are adequately responded and resolved.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote bank offers to merchants and consumers.

What You Will Need

  1. Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  2. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the fintech, payments, e-commerce, or banking industries.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets related to product adoption, customer retention, or revenue growth within existing accounts.
  4. Strong understanding of the payments landscape, including bank offers, credit cards, and other payment methods.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  9. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
