Networking Development Engineer
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

High Performance Computing, AI and Labs is a critical element of HPE. What you’ll do:
- Enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, DHCP, DNS, Multi-Cast, DASL, ARP, and system tools.
- Analyses design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
- Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into a microservices based architecture.
- Collaborates and communicates with management and internal development teams regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Participates in the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
• Expertise in software systems design tools and languages.
• Coding experience in C, C++, Java or equivalent languages
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in distributed systems with focus on resiliency, high availability, horizontal scaling and state distribution desired
- Experience in L2 and L3 networking, QOS, VLAN, LAG, ARP, MAC learning
Experience in SDN orchestration would be preferred
• Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. - Ability to effectively communicate proposals and troubleshooting instructions.
What you need to bring:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
• Typically 6-9 years experience.
