Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our organization, leading complex projects, and mentoring other engineers.

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance software systems
• Lead the development of complex, large-scale projects from conception to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across projects
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve our tech stack
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies
• Represent the engineering team in high-level discussions with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 14+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in a senior technical leadership role
• Extensive experience with advanced programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture
• Strong background in distributed systems, system design, and scalability solutions
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale, complex projects
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Expertise in system architecture and design patterns
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus
