The Requirements:
- 8 + years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on hardware-software integration.
- Deep knowledge of embedded systems and real-time hardware-software integration.
- Proven experience in hardware-software-firmware testing for complex electromechanical products (e.g., 3D printers, post-processing devices).
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Experience in creating and executing test strategies for hardware and firmware systems.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks for embedded systems (e.g., Robot Framework, VectorCAST, LabVIEW).
- Experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++) and test automation for hardware-software environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in working with global teams.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and a strong focus on continuous integration and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
- Comfortable working onsite with teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Onsite availability with a flexible work schedule (5 am - 2 pm, with a 1-hour break).

The Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of test engineers, overseeing hardware-software-firmware integration efforts.
- Mentor and guide the team to ensure timely delivery and high-quality testing.
- Foster communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams in China and the US.
- Design and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes for hardware, software, and firmware integration.
- Drive end-to-end testing efforts to ensure seamless interaction between all system components, focusing on 3D printers and post-processing accessories.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
- Drive test automation efforts, selecting appropriate frameworks for hardware-software-firmware interaction.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Regularly report on test progress, defect metrics, and system performance to leadership teams.
- Maintain and update detailed documentation for all testing procedures, integration results, and lessons learned.
- Serve as the primary integration point for local teams in Hyderabad and global teams in China and the US, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Liaise with product managers, hardware, software, and firmware engineers to align testing activities with product requirements.
- Identify, track, and manage defects related to embedded systems, ensuring timely resolution and conducting thorough hardware-software integration and regression testing as needed.
Work Location - Hyderabad (onsite only)
Work Time - 5 am - 2 pm
