A Day in the LifeYou will play a key role in providing day-to-day operational sourcing support across all Indirect Sourcing categories within the EMEA region, with a special emphasis on supporting the dynamic needs of Diabeter Clinics. In this multifaceted role, you will execute procurement and sourcing activities, manage supplier interactions, support contract processes, and ensure ongoing alignment with evolving business needs and strict compliance requirements. Your proactive approach will help drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in our sourcing operations.Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, Indirect Sourcing – EMEA, you will work in close partnership with a diverse range of regional stakeholders, including teams from IT, Facilities, Marketing, Quality, Finance, Legal, and clinical operations. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Operational Sourcing Support: Support day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities across all Indirect Sourcing categories, ensuring timely execution and alignment with regional priorities. Responsibilities include managing purchase requests, supplier onboarding, sourcing event coordination, contract preparation and renewals, and maintaining accurate sourcing documentation and category data in collaboration with Legal and other stakeholders
- Supplier Coordination and Performance Support: Act as a point of contact for regional suppliers, particularly those supporting Diabeter Clinics in EMEA. Supports supplier performance monitoring by tracking SLAs and KPIs, and helps identify supplier-related risks and mitigation efforts
- Clinic Support (EMEA): Provide targeted sourcing and operational support for Diabeter Clinics, managing facility services, IT services, marketing needs, and other Indirect categories. Coordinate with clinic leadership to understand requirements, address vendor issues, and ensure continuity of clinical operations
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the region to understand business needs and ensure effective sourcing execution. Support communication and alignment between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the Sr. Sourcing Manager, and be responsible for reporting activities such as savings tracking, supplier performance updates, and project status summaries
- Market & Process Support: Conduct market research to support sourcing initiatives and category strategies, identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in daily procurement activities, and ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance standards, and audit requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles; experience in healthcare, life sciences, or multi-country operations is a plus
- Strong understanding of Indirect Sourcing categories and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Fluency in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regional environment and supporting cross-border teams
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the Sr. Sourcing Manager and interface with global procurement stakeholders
