The purpose of this role is to drive and oversee the delivery of the assigned projects to ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects with managerial oversite
- Works across departments and stakeholder engagement
- Makes sure product goals and scope are understood by every team member
- Facilitates scrum events - daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos and retrospectives
- Onboards, develops and manages team of engineers
- Removes bottlenecks/impediments that impede progress
- Defines and drives product development process across the engineering team
- Reports project progress
- Collaborate with leads to maintain efficient product structure to ensure maximum performance
- Evaluates and summarizes weekly project report(s) for management, identifying successful completion of goals and deliverables and any follow-up action required
- Identify risks, mitigation strategies and dependencies. Ensure escalations are raised appropriately
- Ensure timely routing and tracking of work requests through the team
- Manage and maintain the document repository for the team
- Manage peer-level client relationships as the primary client contact for all project inquiries and needs
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams to identify areas for increased efficiencies and opportunities for standardization
- Ability to thrive in a complex environment consisting of geographically dispersed and highly matrixed teams ranging from 25 people
- Manage and ensure smooth cross-team communications
- Assist with process definition and adherence
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.

- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Experience managing project teams of up to 25 people; demonstrated decision-making ability and desire to lead
- Strong client management skills; manage through challenging situations resulting in positive outcomes

- Ability to articulate key concepts and issues in oral and written communication
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills as well as an attention to detail

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or work experience that demonstrates comparable abilities
Relevant experience:
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with agile methodology
- Adapt at using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, and Confluence
